It's Almost Time!

Welcome to my new blog! :) I decided this would be a good way to keep family and friends up to date on Adair's cancer treatment. I will try to post something everyday. This should take some of the burden off my moms shoulders since she is usually the one who gives everyone updates for me!! (Love you mommy!)

So, we just got home from Stanford on Friday (Halloween) after spending two more days trying to harvest stem cells. And guess what...? IT WORKED!!! They finally have enough stem cells to begin the bone marrow transplant. I couldn't be more excited, we've been waiting months for this!! Adair is doing well. He is still wiped out of course and his appetite could be better but all in all he is a trooper! We will probably find out tomorrow when he will be admitted to Stanford. From what they said last time it will be in about a week! So for now my Dair is gonna rest and enjoy his couch, bed and family before he is stuck in the hospital for weeks on end! :)
