Well... my poor husband is spending the night at the hospital tonight. He had an appointment this morning for his weekly blood count and unfortunately he had really low counts so he has to get some blood and platelets. We hate this but it wasn't totally unexpected. I had a feeling this round of chemo was gonna kick his butt because he's still recovering from the transplant. It's so strange because he seemed fine. He was a little tired and weak but not as bad as he's been in the past.
I talked to him on the phone a little while ago and he is doing really well. He went and had a nice lunch with his aunt before going to the hospital. She also bought him a sandwich to tide him over until tomorrow! He HATES hospital food! Thanks Bebe, I don't know if you realize how happy that made him! :)
On another note, I started school yesterday. Talk about anxiety. Our first day we were in class from 8am to 6pm. That was a crazy, long day! I have to admit though, it feels good to be back in the program. It makes both Adair and I feel like we are moving forward. Like I've said before, we are taking life ONE DAY AT A TIME!
Well, I'm gonna try to get some sleep because the kids and I are heading up first thing in the morning to pick Adair up. I can't leave him there any longer than necessary! I just want to say thanks again for everyones continued support and prayers. Take care & goodnight...
