Yesterday went smooth for Adair. His chemo was started and so far he is tolerating it well. His energy is up and he has been walking circles around the unit! He got a good nights sleep and sounded really good this morning. I'm so proud of him! :)
I'm hoping to drive up tomorrow, for a few hours at least. I want to take him some distractions, watching TV all day can get old really quick! Not to mention I miss him so much already!
p.s. If anyone would like to send him cards or letters you can mail it to the house and I will make sure he gets them! As soon as his blood counts drop he will have his own room (he won't be able to leave the room until he is discharged, not even to walk around like he is now) and it might be nice for him to have it filled with words of encouragement! I'm getting pictures together to take up there too, anything to keep his spirits up!!
