Another disappointing week...

Adair was supposed to be admitted to the hospital yesterday for his next round of chemo but instead he is spending the night there tonight to get more blood and platelets. His counts are still really low... so frustrating!!!! The doctor did order the Avastin which is the med that was added to his regimen. Supposedly that drug will not affect his bone marrow like the chemo does and it will hopefully keep any growth at bay until Adair can get his blood counts up and get the next round of chemo. I am at a loss once again.

Adair is being a trooper like always. I will pick him up in the morning and try to get him to rest (not an easy task). Please keep him in your prayers. I'm not sure when he'll see the doctor again so I'll update as soon as something changes.
