Here Goes Round Ten...

The doctor called this evening around 6:30 and told Adair that he will be admitted to Doctor's Hospital tomorrow! This is so hard. There is no definitive plan in place so it kinda feels like the doctors are thinking "well, I have no idea what else to do so let's pump some more poison into him and see if that works"! This will be Adair's tenth round of chemotherapy! Thank goodness he's young and otherwise healthy because that's a lot for one person to handle!

The doctor that called tonight is the oncologist we see in Modesto. We still haven't heard from Adair's doctors at Stanford. We have messages in to both of them to return our calls ASAP. The last thing they talked to us about was surgery, I guess that is why this gets so frustrating. Too many hands in the pot!!

I honestly can't believe this is happening right now. I think back to last February (which now seems like a century ago) and at that time the doctors were so confident that this cancer would be gone in 4 cycles of chemotherapy, and, that was just to be safe, it would probably really be gone after three! And now here we are going into round 10 with a bone marrow transplant to boot! Ugh... I'm rambling again, sorry...

Adair will be at Doctor's for at least 5 days. Please pray for him. He really thought he was done with hospital stays so it won't be an easy week. The good thing is that we've been to Doctor's so much for admissions and infusions and whatnot that we know the staff really well and they are great! I know they will do whatever they can to make him comfortable!

Well, I'll update soon. Goodnight & God Bless...
